If you have kids (or if you and/or you husband has a constant need to mess with stuff), you NEED Backyard Ballistics. We've built the potato cannon, and shot out Mike's windshield with it. The book's instructions were just fine, but Mike had to add the pressure thingie. ::::sigh:::::
The one thing we did that has held the kids attention for well over a year is Cincinnati Fire Kites. My camera and my computer are currently not speaking to each other, else I'd show you a picture of how cool these things are.
Instructions: Cincinnati Fire Kite instructions. I wish my camera was working - when these things work, they are soooo fun to watch. Do them at night for more drama.
